spatial loudspeakers

ImageOn the front page I talk about spatial loudspeakers. The theory behind the technology is based on M and S, that is 'middle and side'. in recording a superb way of achieving a well defined stereo image is to use M and S. Reversing the procedure is certainly not simple.... it has taken over 5 years to get it to a standard where it is significantly superior to a decent pair of loudspeakers! But that moment has arrived and I'm confident that once engineers get used to the novel idea of the monitor loudspeaker sitting under their screen, then everyone will be using them!
To see a short video explaining the technology simply, go to http://youtu.be/j6dNdQ29ZF4
The Orbitsound SB60 is available from John Lewis or from the Orbitsound website.
(Sharp eyed Alice fans might notice the corner of an old 828 in the SB60 picture....)
